Why Not Join Us?
Borough Green Bowls Club is one of the finest bowls clubs in Kent with great facilities and a friendly membership of over 80 people, male and female. Our green is maintained to the highest standard and we play every day.
New members are always welcome, so why not come and try it yourself? Email bgbc@boroughgreenbowls.co.uk if you’d like to come and have a taster session.
Members can play as often as they wish and there are twice weekly informal roll-up sessions, ideal for new players.
For those who might be retiring from more physical games, bowls is a great way to remain active and stay involved in competitive sport at Club, County and National level.

- Help, coaching and bowls are available
- Just wear flat shoes or trainers

Weekly Roll-Ups
In season, we have two roll-up sessions per week where any member can come along for a friendly game:
- Tuesday mornings at 10:30
- Thursday evenings at 18:00
Inter-Club Friendlies
Midweek and weekend friendly matches with other local clubs, both home and away.
Leagues, Cups & Trophies
We currently field four mixed teams in the Friday night Sevenoaks & District Bowls League, with teams in every division and also play in the linked Millennium Trophy and Marshall Cup.
Our Ladies play in the West Kent League. There are numerous other Kent competitions that the club participates in.
Club Competitions
All of our members can play in our intra-club competitions for a chance to win some silverware for their trophy cabinet, presented at our end of season Annual Presentation Dinner.
Fully Licensed Bar
Our excellent club house & bar is open throughout the summer season.
Social Events
We hold regular Quiz nights, Racing nights, an Annual Presentation Dinner, Charity Day, Christmas Party and various other events.
