The club was formed in 1956 and the last 8 years have seen considerable success, with 9 Ladies and 1 Man winning coveted County Badges and and a Pair reaching the last 8 in England in the National Mixed Pairs (see Photo Gallery).
Our current membership is 70 men and ladies but we are always on the lookout for new members either, experienced bowlers or complete novices looking for a new hobby or sport. Free instruction is available - just contact either Rachel or Tony by e-mail.
The club has excellent facilities, including a bar which is open every day during the summer season, a strong social element and is involved in a variety of games catering for all ages and ability from social, mixed roll-ups, mens and ladies friendly matches against local clubs, competitive mens and ladies leagues, club and County competitions through to National competitions.
